I’ve been collaborating with MEF for many years so jumped at the chance to chair a discussion at their recent MEF Connects: Rich Communications virtual event. The event shone a spotlight on the future of messaging, looking at new channels, tools and technologies, and exploring how to reach and serve customers in valuable new ways.
In our panel on The Evolution of Messaging, hosted by MMDSmart and MEF, we spent an hour exploring channel evolution, business case solutions and commercial models of messaging.
Business messaging is not new. But the channels and technologies are evolving and the importance of digital customer engagement during and post-pandemic shine a new spotlight on the urgency of why marketers must embrace mobile messaging. This kick-off session was a ‘Messaging 101 Masterclass’ from industry experts to exploring the channel strategies, business case solutions and commercials models to get you ready for the #futureofmessaging
The specially invited guests were:
- Ira Cohen – VP, Business Development & Marketing at MMDSmart
- Sherard Kumar – EVP & Business Head at Route Mobile
- Andy Jones – Business Development at Mobilesquared
- Surinder Singh Anand – CTO & VP-Product Management at Kirusa
- Paul Ruppert – Independent consultant to mobile/tech CXOs
Many thanks to our awesome speakers for a vibrant discussion, and to MEF for the invitation.
