“Music For Lost Souls” was a series of nine pieces of music to accompany live static trapeze and rope glisse performances, with live poetry readings from the actress Nell Murphy.
The torchlight performances took place in Abney Park Cemetary in North London as part of the Stoke Newington Summer Festival for two years running.
The poems which inspired the music and performance were drawn from the works of Alan Ginsberg, Shakespeare, Sylvia Plath, Stevie Smith & Emily Bronte, and inspired by themes of death and tragic loss.
