The MTV European Music Awards are a massive operation, with a live global audience of over two billion viewers.

Oisin Lunny was commissioned to compose & produce all of the musical elements for the event: main idents, bumpers, category stings, all satellite show music & mood pieces. The computer animations were provided by Dublin based design house Dynamo, while the snare performance on the main idents was provided by then MTV President Brent Hansen.
